‘Memories are Golden’ Community Hub
Bringing together individuals to build long-lasting friendships.

The ‘Memories are Golden’ Community Hub brings together people living with Dementia, individuals who may be at risk of social isolation, and their families, friends and the community. We aim to provide meaningful activities, entertainment, and events to improve wellbeing, build friendships, and reduce social isolation.
Haverhill Community Care manages and runs the community hub which is a charitable organisation with a registered board of trustees.
We meet every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30 to 14:30 and typically cater the activities for a group of up to 15 people. For only £40 a day, here are some of the great activities and benefits the group provides:
- Arts & crafts
- Quizzes & games
- Meaningful social interaction
- Opportunities to create meaningful friendships
- Entertainment & outings
- 2-course lunch and refreshments throughout the day
- Support provided by trained & qualified carers
